Time to choose a Skate Park Design

Paxcroft Mead Skate Park - help us make it happen…
Paxcroft Mead has a lovely country park - but there is nothing there for teenagers
We want to improve this situation - by building a small scale skate park
Small scale means a local skate park - designed for up to 30 users at any one time
It will be a poured concrete construction - smooth, quiet and hard wearing

So far…
We have found the best site - on the field behind Paxcroft Mead Community Centre
And identified the 2 best builders - who have each delivered a great design
Now we have to choose the best one - with the help of young people who live locally

This is where YOU come in…
You can vote online - right here
The rules are one email address - one vote
We also need your postcode - so we know how local you are
We are asking for your age - so we can see the range of ages voting

Some points to bear in mind as you decide…
The skate park is designed to be used by up to 30 people at a time
Sometimes it will be busy - other times it will be quiet
It needs to have zoned areas - to be used by different user groups when it's busy
And to have a flow all around it - for quieter times
There need to be gentle areas - for younger and less experienced users
And more challenging areas - for older and more experienced users

We want to know what YOU think - but please tell us your age as well as your postcode
So we know where you're coming from

When the decision is made…
The next step is Planning Permission - with the support of Hilperton Parish Council Then we have to raise the money - so look out for community events coming your way It's an ambitious project for a small organisation - but we hope to do it by the end of 2014

Voting has now closed

The results will be announced shortly
